Elle peut s\u2019endormir involontairement pendant ses activit\u00e9s ordinaires : pendant un repas, alors qu&rsquo;elle marche ou au volant d\u2019un v\u00e9hicule.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dans une\u00a0<strong>hypersomnie idiopathique<\/strong>, la personne a des \u00e9pisodes de somnolence irr\u00e9pressibles durant la journ\u00e9e, m\u00eame apr\u00e8s une bonne ou longue nuit de sommeil. Tout comme dans la narcolepsie, le besoin de dormir peut se faire sentir \u00e0 toute heure du jour, ce qui peut \u00eatre dangereux si la personne est au volant.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Les\u00a0<strong>parasomnies<\/strong>\u00a0sont des \u00e9v\u00e9nements ou exp\u00e9riences perturbateurs qui se produisent juste avant l\u2019endormissement, pendant le sommeil ou au r\u00e9veil. Ils crient, jurent, donnent des coups de poings ou de pieds, et parfois m\u00eame sautent.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Les\u00a0<strong>troubles du rythme circadien<\/strong>\u00a0sont des d\u00e9sordres de l\u2019horloge interne du patient, laquelle r\u00e9gule un certain nombre de processus biologiques. Dans ce cas, la respiration ralentit et devient superficielle. Il existe diff\u00e9rents types d\u2019ACS, dont l\u2019ACS caus\u00e9e par une respiration de Cheyne-Stokes, une respiration p\u00e9riodique caus\u00e9e par la haute altitude (mal des montagnes), une maladie m\u00e9dicale ou neurologique sans respiration de Cheyne-Stokes.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019apn\u00e9e obstructive du sommeil (AOS) est le trouble du sommeil li\u00e9 \u00e0 la respiration le plus fr\u00e9quent. Le dispositif fourni enregistre les niveaux d\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne, la fr\u00e9quence cardiaque, le flux d\u2019air, les ronflements et d\u2019autres param\u00e8tres pendant que le patient est endormi. Le taux d\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne sanguin et parfois aussi la fr\u00e9quence cardiaque sont mesur\u00e9s et suivis dans le temps.
