Natus MRI Conditional electrodes- from EEG to MRI with no down time
Natus MR / CT Conditional Electrodes have longer lead lengths promote easier application for EEG technologists

Enhanced usability with longer leads and clear labeling

The Grass MR Conditional / CT Cup Electrodes feature longer lead lengths and clear 10-20 labeling which promote easier application for EEG technologists.

  • With up to 30% longer lead lengths, technologists can more easily access disconnect points to minimize strain on connection to patient and help improve patient comfort
  • The clear 10-20 labeling and color-coding help to facilitate accurate electrode placement and ensure proper alignment with the amplifier
  • Any electrode within an array can easily reach any 10-20 placement location
Natus MRI conditional electrodes are approved for MRI safety

Approved as MR conditional at 1.5T and 3T

Grass MR Conditional / CT Cup Electrodes are engineered for superior and safe performance for MRIs to fulfill radiology needs.

  • Tested to demonstrate low artifact in MRI environments
  • Longer lengths facilitate convenient bundling into a single tie and simplified application of headwrap during MRI testing

Longer Leads. Simple Labeling.

From EEG to MRI with no downtime.

The challenges of conventional electrode arrays
The limited length of conventional arrays often contributes to cramped spaces for technologists to access disconnect points. Lack of leverage can risk pulling on the connection between the electrodes and patients. Shorter lengths require multiple bundling in the MR environment, hindering efficient hard wrapping.

MRI Safety Information

Non-clinical testing has demonstrated that a patient with the Grass MR Conditional / CT Cup Electrodes may be safely scanned under the following conditions

  • Nominal value(s) of Static Magnetic Field [T]: 1.5 T or 3 T
  • Maximum Spatial Field Gradient [T/m and gauss/cm]: 30 T/m (3000 gauss/cm)
  • RF Excitation: Circularly Polarized (CP)
  • RF Transmit Coil Type: Whole body transmit coil, Head RF transmit-receive coil
  • Maximum Whole Body SAR [W/kg]: 2.0 W/kg (Normal Operating Mode)
  • Maximum Head SAR [W/kg]: 3.2 W/kg (Normal Operating Mode)
  • Limits on Scan Duration: 60 Minutes of continuous RF (a sequence or back-to-back series/scan without breaks) within the maximum whole body average SAR and maximum head SAR limits
  • MR Image Artifact: The presence of this device may produce an image artifact of 2.43 mm or less

Under the scan conditions defined above, the Grass MR Conditional / CT Cup Electrodes are expected to produce a maximum temperature rise of less than 4ºC at 1.5 T and 4ºC at 3 T after 15 minutes of continuous scanning.

The included extension cables are MR Unsafe. Remove all extension cables before entering an MR environment.
