CEO, Natus Neuro
Chris Landon is the CEO of Natus Neuro. With a track record of driving innovation, developing scalable operations and fostering patient-focused organizational culture, Chris joined Natus in 2024 after serving five years as the President and General Manager for Image Guided Therapy Devices at Royal Philips, a global, at-scale market leader in minimally invasive cardiovascular interventions. Prior to that, Chris spent 16 years in various leadership roles including multiple general management assignments in medical technology fields related to spinal intervention, biologics, stroke and cardiac rhythm management.
Chris is very active in the healthcare community. In addition to his duties with Natus, Chris serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board for Medical Alley and has held previous board assignments with the American Heart Association Twin Cities Heart Walk and with The Growing Through Darkness Foundation. Before entering into the field of medical technology, Chris spent nearly seven years in Management Consulting with Deloitte. He holds an MBA from the International Institute of Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland and a BA in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Washington in Seattle.
Vice President, General Counsel
Doug Balog joined Natus in April 2019 as Senior Counsel. At Natus, Doug manages a broad range of legal issues in support of Natus’ global business operations. Prior to Natus, Doug was Senior Counsel at Renesas Electronics America and Intersil Corporation and started his legal career with Harris Corporation in 1998. Before becoming an Attorney, he was a Principal Engineer for McDonnell Douglas. Doug earned his law degree at Pace University, during which time he clerked for a Judge and a Prosecuting Attorney. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from St. Louis University and a Master’s degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Doug is admitted to practice law in Illinois and Florida and is a registered Attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Vice President, Global Service
Michael Cowles joined Natus in April of 2019. Michael brings over 20 years of experience in the Medical Device industry to Natus, having most recently held the role of Vice President, Global Service. Prior to joining Natus, Michael spent 20 years at GE Healthcare, where he served in a number of positions, including Service Operations Manager, Sr. Finance Leader, Global MR Chief of Staff, Interventional MRI Product Manager, Global Service MRI Executive Director and General Manager, and Global Diagnostic Project Management. Michael holds a Bachelor of Biological Science and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Business Administration from Xavier University.
Chief Commercial Officer
Bud Fahey joined Natus Neuro in September 2024 as Chief Commercial Officer, leading our global Sales, Marketing, and Service organization. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the medical device industry, with a strong focus on driving growth through commercial strategy, execution, team leadership and a focus on people development. Before joining Natus, Bud held senior leadership roles at Philips leading North America in their Image Guided Therapy capital and device businesses. Prior to that role, he held various leadership roles at Abbott Vascular and Boston Scientific leading sales, marketing, sales operations, and national accounts. Bud has a bachelor’s degree in biology from Colgate University in Biology.
Vice President, CIO
Nitin Gaglani joined Natus in 2011. Nitin brings over 11 years of supporting Medical Device IT Organization and over 25 years of experience in IT and technology consulting. Having more recently held the role of Director of Applications, Nitin has since 2011 served in various leadership roles within IT. Prior to Natus, Nitin held various IT leadership positions with Netflix, Seagate, and Oracle. Nitin holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Bombay University, India.
Vice President, Global Sales
Drew Kessler joined Natus Medical in 2006 with the acquisition of Bio-logic Systems, where he spent 14 years as the Regional Sales Director for the Eastern United States. Since joining Natus, Drew has served in several sales management roles, including Regional Sales Director, National Sales Director, Vice President of North American Sales, and his current role of Vice President of Global Neuro Sales. Drew attended the University of Baltimore where he studied Business Management and Marketing. He lives with his wife in Sarasota, Florida.
Vice President, Global Operations
Seán Langan joined Natus in July 2012 and has served as Vice President, Global Operations since January 2019. Seán brings over 21 years of Medical Device experience to the organization. Having most recently held the role of Senior Director of Global Operations for Natus. Seán has since 2007 served at the company’s Gort Ireland Facility in various senior leadership roles within Global Operations, Site Management and Quality and Regulatory Affairs. During this tenure, Seán also worked for Medical Device companies Cardinal Health and CareFusion. Prior to Natus, Seán previously held roles with Boston Scientific from August 2006 to October 2007, Merit Medical from June 2004 to August 2006 and Creganna from 2001 to 2004. Seán holds a Bachelor Degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology.
Vice President, Quality & Regulatory Affairs
Courtney Walton joined Natus in January 2025 as Vice President, Quality & Regulatory Affairs, and is responsible for leading the strategic direction for ensuring product excellence, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency within the organization.
She brings more than 22 years of experience in the medical device industry, most recently holding the role of Senior Director, Quality & Regulatory Affairs at Beckman Coulter (a Danaher Company). Courtney’s passion lies in building strong teams in support of their career aspirations while also achieving the business objectives, with the ultimate goal of making a difference in patient outcomes. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN.
Director, Global Regulatory Affairs and Compliance
Sanjay Mehta joined Natus in February 2010. Sanjay brings over 20 years of experience in the Medical Device Industry Leading Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance teams. Having most recently held the role of Director, Global Regulatory Affairs and Compliance, Sanjay has served in various leadership roles of increasing responsibilities within the QARA department. During his time at Natus, Sanjay has led Natus to successful FDA Inspections, External Audits, as well as numerous FDA 510k clearances. In addition, he has been involved in Regulatory due diligence initiatives while proactively identifying business impact and opportunities in the acquisitions and divestitures from Regulatory perspective.
Prior to Natus, Sanjay has held various QARA roles at GN Hearing Care Ltd, an industry leader in providing audiology and hearing solutions. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Bachelor of Science degree from M.S. University in India.
Director, Business Excellence
Ajaz joined Natus in May of 2024. A proven professional, Ajaz joined Natus from Philips Healthcare Canada where he held the position of Service Operations & Strategy Leader, and previously, Chief of Staff – Business Transformation & Strategy. Taking on challenging change and transformation work is at the core of Ajaz’s career. Among his many accomplishments, Ajaz has led the implementation of large-scale ERP solutions with great success.
Senior Director, Human Resources
Maura Moroney joined Natus in May 2019, bringing with her more than 15 years of global HR experience. Prior to joining Natus, she was the Senior HR Manager for EMEA with Avaya. Here her team supported approximately 2500 employees and multiple works councils across 22 countries. Prior to Avaya, Maura was a HR consultant supporting Europe and APAC for anti- fraud software company Norkom Technologies. Maura holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from the National College of Ireland.
Vice President, Finance
Todd Sanford joined Natus in December 2014 and brings over 22 years finance and accounting experience to Natus. Having most recently held the role of Vice President of FP&A for Natus, Todd has also held various senior leadership roles within the finance and accounting organization at Natus. Prior to Natus, he held positions of increasing responsibility at Intersil Corporation. Todd earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Florida and a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Central Florida.
Sr. Director, Neuro Corporate Communications
Lisa joined Natus Neuro in April 2024. Lisa’s career journey is marked by her dedication to advancing cutting-edge medical technologies that hold the promise of enhancing the health and well-being of patients worldwide. Her tenure of more than 15 years running a successful marketing communication consultancy business and working closely with numerous MedTech clients highlights her deep-rooted passion for driving innovation in healthcare. Lisa’s commitment to leveraging communications as a catalyst for positive change aligns perfectly with Natus’s vision of pushing the boundaries of medical technology to improve patient outcomes.
Vice President, Research and Development
Nitin Shali joined Natus in 2012 as R&D Director in the Neuro SBU. Nitin brings over 10 years of Medical Device design and development experience and over 20 years of Research & Development experience to the organization. Having most recently held the role of Senior Director, R&D, he has since 2012 served in various senior leadership roles within Engineering and R&D.
Prior to Natus, Nitin previously held various design and development roles with Research in Motion (Blackberry) from 2001 to 2012 and Nortel Networks from 1998 to 2001. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Master of Engineering in RF Engineering from Technical University of Nova Scotia, Canada.
Vice President, Worldwide HR – Neurology
Dennis joined Natus in December 2022 as Sr. Human Resources Manager for U.S. – Sensory. In 2023, Dennis was promoted to Director of Sensory HR and North American Payroll & Benefits and in 2024, to his current position as Vice President, Worldwide HR- Neurology. Prior to Natus, Dennis held senior HR leadership roles with Amazon, Symmetry Surgical, Inc., Fort Wayne Newspaper Group, and Colwell Industries – U.S. & International. Among his areas of responsibility were benefits, compensation, payroll, compliance, employee relations, performance management, staffing and site planning. Dennis’ career in Human Resources spans nearly 30 years and includes experience in retail, manufacturing/distribution, media, financial services, medical devices, and technology.
Dennis graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources from Eastern Michigan University. He is married to Beth, and they have three sons Austin (father to granddaughter Ella), Evan and Christian. Dennis and Beth live in New Smyrna Beach, Florida with summers spent at the lake in Northeast Indiana.
Vice President, Strategy, Business Development & Integration
Douwe van den Brink joined Natus Neuro in April 2024. Prior to joining Natus, Douwe held several leadership positions at Royal Philips across strategy & business development, corporate development, and general management with an emphasis on imaging and medical devices for minimally invasive cardiovascular interventions. Before his time at Royal Philips, Douwe worked for about 10 years in banking, most of which in investment banking at ABN AMRO and Deutsche Bank.
Douwe holds a Master of Science in International Business Studies from Maastricht University, The Netherlands.
Director, Administration
Betty joined Natus Neuro in July 2024 as Director, Administration. Betty brought with her an impressive portfolio of achievements, including providing exceptional administrative assistance to leaders engaged in Philips’ successful acquisitions of Spectranetics and her adept organization of 12 unforgettable President Club events. She has been a driving force in cultivating a vibrant culture of health and wellness, community engagement, and professional development.
