Aurical® HIT – Coupler Based Fitting

Coupler based fitting (CBF) with Aurical HIT includes real ear to coupler difference (RECD) – both measured and predicted, enabling you to carry out pediatric and adult fitting efficiently.

Other uses include verification of specific HI features (such as directionality and noise reduction), and include coupler measures without RECD, which can provide invaluable information about the HI performance.

The additional “HI Transition” application allows for ‘matching’ the frequency response of a new hearing instrument to a previously worn device easier switching if HIs and shortening the adaptation time. Very useful for clients with severe to profound hearing loss, i.e., a highly reduced dynamic range.

All the tests you need in a single solution for fast hearing instrument testing

The Aurical HIT hearing instrument test box has all the tests you need to measure, test all types of hearing instruments in the way you want – regardless of manufacturer and independent of the other Aurical elements.

Measure according to IEC and ANSI test standards or carry out FreeStyle measurement. It’s easy with Aurical HIT and Otosuite software – the fitting software and shared interface for all Aurical elements from Natus. Otosuite enables you to customize the stimuli and prescriptive targets according to your needs.

It is also possible to perform verification of wireless features.

The OnePosition method enables accuracy and quality in hearing instrument testing

Hearing instrument testing is more efficient with Aurical HIT and the OnePosition test feature. OnePosition enables you to place the hearing aid in a secure and stable position inside the test chamber.

OnePosition accommodates all measurements and eliminates the need for repositioning the hearing instrument for directionality or induction coil measurements. In short, OnePosition streamlines the entire Coupler Based Fitting (CBF) and hearing instrument testing process – without the hassle of cables, loose couplers and constant interruptions to adjust and position the hearing instrument.

Hearing instrument test chamber with the standard tests you need

Aurical HIT has all the tests you need to carry out coupler based fitting with real ear to coupler difference measurements and pre-program all types of hearing instruments – regardless of manufacturer and independent of the other Aurical elements.

Measure according to IEC and ANSI test standards or carry out HIT FreeStyle measurements. Include directionality testing where appropriate. It is easy with Aurical HIT and Otosuite software – the measurement software and shared interface for all Aurical elements.

Customize the stimuli and prescriptive targets according to your needs. Perform verification of wireless features and help smooth your client’s transition to the latest HI technology.

Hearing instrument testing with minimal footprint - maximum benefit

Aurical HIT is a compact, modular and portable hearing instrument test chamber that makes measuring faster and easier. With a small footprint, you can bring it with you on home visits or move it around your clinic.

Aurical HIT is easy to use. Perform Coupler-Based Fitting including RECD for various verification procedures, preprogramming and pre-fitting without the client being present.

Carry out customized measurements for servicing adult as well as pediatric clients. Ensure correct hearing aid placement and accurate measurements with the OnePosition feature – unique to Aurical HIT.
