CEO
Peter joined Natus Sensory as CEO in January 2025.
He holds a wide variety of industry-focused degrees, including a BSc in Biomedical Engineering, a MSc in Computer Science and a PhD in Medical Engineering. Peter started his business career with progressively growing responsibility in sales and marketing positions with Draeger Medical and Philips Healthcare both in Europe and the US. He moved successfully into general management positions with Leica Microsystems and Leica Biosystems, two Danaher operating companies. In 2020 Peter joined Heraeus Medevio, a $500M revenue medical contract design and manufacturing company as CEO. After successfully growing the company and doubling EBITDA in three years, he was promoted to oversee all five healthcare portfolio companies for Heraeus Group, a privately owned highly diversified firm.
Peter is dual citizen of the US and Germany. He resides in Henderson, NV.
Executive Chairman of the Board
Matthias holds a PhD from the LMU University of Munich and began his career as a Cardiologist at the University Hospital in Munich. He thereafter moved into business, beginning with work in Marketing, R&D and Operations functions in smaller companies in Germany and the US. Success in those roles led to an offer to join GE Healthcare and lead a European commercial team. In 2004, Matthias relocated to the US to run the GE’s worldwide Cardiology business, following which he led its $1B Patient Monitoring business out the US and Helsinki, Finland.
In 2012, Matthias joined the Danaher Corporation as President of its IVD Tissue Diagnostics business at Leica Biosystems. Under his leadership, Leica grew from $400M to almost $1B through organic growth and several acquisitions.
Following his success at Leica, Matthias was sought after to serve as a leader of several PE and VC portfolio companies. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Medtentia OY, a VC funded startup focusing on heart valves based in Finland. In addition, he is a non-executive director of NDD AG, a Swiss lung function leader.
Matthias’ work as an Operating Partner for ArchiMed entails service as chairman of the board of Zytomax GmbH, a German IVD company, and Executive Chairman of the Board of Natus Sensory.
Matthias lives in Germany and is a German and Hungarian citizen.
Chief Operations Officer
Lowell Limpus, Jr joined Natus in January 2024 and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in medical device supply chain management, manufacturing and engineering especially in portfolio companies owned by private equity firms. Lowell has held positions of increasing responsibilities in companies that provide various specialty and general surgical instruments and equipment. He received his undergraduate degree in Engineering from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and his MBA in Management and Marketing from Indiana University.
Chief Commercial Officer
Lon joined Natus in April 2025, bringing more than 20 years of leadership experience in the medical device and healthcare industry. He has held senior roles across commercial and operational functions, leading global teams through strategic growth, process improvements, and market expansion. Lon is known for his collaborative style and focus on delivering value to customers and patients. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and is based in Chicago, Illinois.
Sr. Director, Global Service
Nicolas joined Natus in February 2013. He brings over 10 years of Medical Device experience to the organization, which includes many years in the Neurodiagnostic and Newborn Care markets. Starting in Customer Care, he has held various international leadership roles within the customer service area covering both, technical and administrative departments. During this time, he developed service programs, established new processes and technologies in order to expand the various areas of support into a successful, customer focused and profitable part of the organization. During this period, he also worked for Medical Device companies including Cardinal Health and CareFusion.
Chief Financial Officer
Kelly brings extensive experience as a finance professional in the Medical Device and Life Science industries. She has served as CFO of Ohio Medical and Avidity Science and as Senior Finance Director of Leica Microsystems. Additionally, Kelly has held progressive senior finance leadership roles at Littelfuse, Illinois Tool Works, and Kraft Foods.
Kelly is bringing her experience in Business Strategy and Partnership, along with M&A (acquisition, divestiture and integration) to help Natus Sensory’s longer-term growth. She also has strong experience with application technology, having developed strategies for and implemented ERP and reporting systems. With her extensive experience in supporting procurement and operations functions, she will also be able to support the Supply Chain team. She prioritizes developing and leading successful teams, as evidenced by her extensive history of fostering internal and professional growth.
Kelly lives in Antioch, IL with her husband. She has two adult sons who are both married and is a proud grandmother to a grandson. Her priority and passion are spending time with her family, but she also enjoys boating in the summer and traveling with her husband.
Vice President, Quality Assurance / Regulatory Affairs
Martha Joined Natus in December 2017 from Technopath Manufacturing Ltd, where she worked in various Quality and Regulatory roles over a 10-year time frame. Earlier in her career, Martha also worked in Olympus Diagnositca and Beckman Counter, both having a strong foot hold in the Irish IVD industry. Martha Graduated from the University of Limerick with an honour’s degree in BSc Industrial Biochemistry and more recently from the National University of Galway with a MSc in Medical Technology and Regulatory Affairs.
Senior Corporate Counsel
Danda brings 15 years of extensive experience in corporate and commercial law, intellectual property, M&A, data privacy, compliance and AI. She spent eight years at Continental AG, where she held multiple roles, including Corporate Counsel for North American Commercial Laws and Deputy General Counsel for the Global Expert Team – Digital Laws. She joined Continental through its acquisition of Veyance Technologies (Goodyear spinoff), where she served as Regional Counsel. Before that, she spent seven years at Electro-Motive Diesel (a Caterpillar company), progressing from Attorney to Regional Vice President for Greater China.
Danda holds a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. She is admitted to practice law in California and Illinois and is fluent in Mandarin.
Vice President, Business Development and Mergers & Acquisitions
Lars Bladt Rasmussen joined Natus in 2017 via the acquisition of Otometrics where he had served in a similar role since 2016 as the head of product management. Prior to this tenure, Lars spent 10 years with the Demant group in different international positions within general management, marketing, and product management at Interacoustics, Grason-Stadler and DGS. Earlier in his career Lars has held different marketing positions within the fields of consumer electronics, market research and publishing as well as enjoyed two expat terms (6 years in total) in the USA, living in Atlanta, GA and Minneapolis, MN. Lars holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration and M.Sc. in International Marketing from the University of Southern Denmark.
Senior Director, Global HR
Uwe Schwendler joined Natus in August 2013. Mr. Schwendler brings over 20 years of International Human Resources experience to the organization. Having most recently held the role of Senior Manager HR for Natus, Mr. Schwendler has since 2013 served at the company’s Office in Munich in various roles and territories within Human Resources. Since 2016 he oversaw Human Resources for EMEA and APAC. Earlier in his career, Mr. Schwendler was Head of Human Resources for Maurer SE, a family owned Engineering Company with 800 employees where he was responsible for all aspects of Global Human Resources. Prior to this role he was the Head of International HR for BBRail GmbH a daughter of Balfour Beatty PLC. leading Human Resources for EMEA and APAC. Mr. Schwendler holds a Diploma in Economics and Human Resources from Hochschule Bremen, Germany.
Business Unit Leader, Global Newborn Care
Kirill brings over a decade of global P&L leadership and 15 years of experience in product management and marketing within GE Healthcare, Philips Healthcare, and Danaher Diagnostics. In his last role he served as Chief Product Officer at Tessonics group leading product development, and commercialization efforts for novel NDT and diagnostic medical devices.
With deep expertise in strategic planning, process improvement, team and talent development, Kirill leverages methodologies such as Danaher Business Systems and Six Sigma to drive business success. Throughout their career, he led financial turnarounds, achieving double-digit growth, multi-million-dollar margin improvements, and significant working capital reductions. Additionally, Kirill has successfully navigated FDA remediation, enhanced product quality, and launched major new products into the market.
Kirill holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Princeton University and began his industrial career in R&D, where he developed a strong foundation in innovation and problem-solving.
Outside of work, Kirill is an avid marathoner and cross-country skier. He and his wife reside in Brookfield, Wisconsin, embracing an active lifestyle and travels.
Senior Director, Research & Development Engineering
Alissa joined Natus in January 2020 and has expanded her role from Global Hardware and Firmware Senior Manager to head of Research and Development engineering for the Sensory Division. Alissa came from Baxter International Inc., where she was a Senior Manager of the Specialized Monitoring team within the Medication Delivery business. Prior to this role, Alissa led the execution of new wireless module development for Infusion pumps at Hospira and completed remediation engineering efforts for the large volume and syringe pumps following compliance issues. Previously, she held several positions at Motorola, from automotive controller design engineering within the Automotive business unit to Director of Technical Marketing in the Telecommunications sector. Alissa joined Chrysler in 1995 as an electrical engineer for Small Car Platform Design Engineering working in the Belvidere Assembly plant upon graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
